DESIGNER
Jorge Pensi
Jorge Pensi, born in 1946, studied architecture in Buenos Aires before moving to Barcelona. He specialised in the design of furniture, lighting and contemporary architecture. Together with the designer Alberto Liévore as well as the theorists Noberto Chaves and Oriol Piebernat, he founded the design research group “Berenguer” – after the namesake square in Barcelona.
True to his motto „The best is yet to come“, Pensi started his own design studio in 1984, and began developing aluminium seating, perfecting his own style. His lectureships, the plethora of the products he designed for international exhibitions as well as his numerous award are a testimony to his work and talent. He is the creative mind behind many seating and table series in Kusch+Co’s portfolio.
