New certificate CO₂ Performance Ladder for Nowy Styl
Following an extensive audit conducted in the Netherlands, Germany, and at several production sites in Poland, Nowy Styl has once again been awarded the CO₂ Performance Ladder - Level 3 certification.
The certification remains valid for three years, with annual surveillance audits to monitor progress and maintain compliance.
The auditor expressed strong appreciation for our production facilities, as well as for the comprehensive plans and measures implemented to reduce energy consumption and CO₂ emissions. These initiatives play a crucial role in enhancing long-term energy efficiency and ensuring continuous improvement in our sustainability performance.
In line with the communication requirements of the CO₂ Performance Ladder, we invite you to review a summary of our latest efforts in greenhouse gas emission reduction.

Company Policy
The global discussion surrounding climate change and environmental responsibility has gained significant momentum in recent years. Nowy Styl recognizes its role in this challenge and has taken proactive steps to ensure that all business operations and products are developed and delivered in a sustainable and responsible manner.
Our commitment has been recognized internationally. Nowy Styl has once again reaffirmed its position as a leader in sustainability, earning the EcoVadis Platinum Medal for the fourth consecutive year. Our 2025 EcoVadis score improved to 86/100, an increase of four points compared to the previous year, reflecting progress across all assessed categories.
Additionally, Nowy Styl received further distinctions in 2025:
In 2024, our CO₂ emissions were reduced by 45% compared to 2018 levels.
This significant achievement was primarily driven by the purchase of renewable electricity generated from wind and solar sources. The rate of reduction was slightly lower than in the previous year, mainly due to increased energy consumption resulting from higher production volumes in Poland.
Our emission reduction targets are based on relative emissions - that is, CO₂ emissions in relation to annual turnover, defined as revenue from the sale of products and services, excluding other operating and financial income.

CO₂ Objectives
Since 2019, Nowy Styl has applied the Dutch CO₂ Performance Ladder - a sustainability management system that helps organizations measure, manage, and systematically reduce their carbon footprint.
In accordance with its methodology, we calculate the carbon footprint for:
Nowy Styl has set ambitious targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, focusing on Scopes 1 and 2 combined, and expressed in relation to annual turnover.
Combined Scope 1 and 2 Objective:
Nowy Styl aims to achieve a 50% reduction in CO₂ emissions by 2025 compared to 2018, representing an average annual reduction of 7.1%.
Individual Scope Targets
In accordance with its methodology, we calculate the carbon footprint for:
- Nowy Styl Poland
- Nowy Styl Deutschland GmbH (Germany)
- Nowy Styl Netherlands

CO₂ emissions in 2024
In 2024, Nowy Styl direct greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions amounted to 8,515 tonnes of CO₂ (Scope 1), while indirect emissions totalled 6,731 tonnes of CO₂ (Scope 2). Business air travel accounted for an additional 449 tonnes of CO₂.
Altogether, this represents a total of 15,694 tonnes of CO₂ emissions for 2024, covering Scopes 1 and 2, as well as business air travel.

Progress
What we have achieved in 2024/2025
Energy Management
At Nowy Styl Sp. z o.o., energy management is built on systematic monitoring and detailed consumption analysis, treating energy as both a strategic environmental and cost factor. We use a dedicated real-time monitoring system across our main facilities and key production areas. This allows us to identify anomalies, detect excessive consumption, and calculate energy usage in specific sections of our operations.
Based on this data, we plan and implement targeted reduction measures, such as:
ISO 50001 Energy Management System.
Nowy Styl Sp. z o.o. has also initiated activities and training for the preparation and implementation of an Energy Management System in line with ISO 50001 standards.
Investments and Technology Upgrades
Recent investments include the modernization of compressed air installations at the Metal Components Plant and the Armchair and Chair Production Plant in Jasło. Old compressors were replaced with new variable-speed rotary compressors, resulting in enhanced energy efficiency.
Additionally, we have acquired a sonic camera to detect leaks in compressed media (e.g., air, technical gases) in our technological installations. Planned preventive tests and inspections will enable early detection and repair of leaks, further reducing energy consumption and production costs.
Sustainable Electricity
The most significant reduction measure has been the purchase of 6,000 MWh of sustainable electricity in Poland, generated from wind and solar sources. The Dutch offices also source green energy locally from the Netherlands.
Supplier Sustainability Award (SSA) - Sustainable Supply Chain Initiative
The Supplier Sustainability Award (SSA) highlights and rewards best-in-class sustainable projects undertaken by suppliers that make a significant contribution to Nowy Styl Supplier Sustainability initiatives.
Since its launch in 2021, the contest has focused primarily on environmental and social aspects, addressing challenges related to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance). Over the years, awareness and performance in these areas have grown considerably among participating companies, raising the bar for both participation and achievement.
The Supplier Sustainability Award aims to promote responsible business conduct and inspire companies to implement innovative environmental and social initiatives.
Award winners demonstrate measurable positive impacts, deep engagement in responsible supply chains, and meaningful contributions toward EU Taxonomy environmental goals.
Over time, the Supplier Sustainability Award has become a permanent and highly respected element of Nowy Styl annual event calendar, reflecting the growing importance of ESG across the industrial sector.
The 2025 edition continued this tradition by recognizing outstanding suppliers in three categories:
“Together for Sustainability!” Webinar for suppliers
As a continuation of the Supplier Sustainability Award 2025 (SSA2025) - a long-standing initiative by Nowy Styl promoting responsible business practices in Environment, Local Community Impact, Ethics, and Diversity - the webinar “Together for Sustainability!” was organized to further engage and inspire our supplier network.
Held on November 25, 2025, the event brought together SSA2025 winners who presented their best sustainability practices. These showcased innovative and proactive initiatives in CO₂ reduction, carbon footprint management, circular economy, social engagement, and ethical responsibility.
The webinar served as a platform for knowledge sharing, inspiration, and collaboration, reinforcing collective efforts to advance ESG values across the supply chain. By continuing this initiative together with our partners, we are shaping the future of the industry through cooperation, recognition of excellence, and continuous improvement.
