Nowy Styl and Kusch+Co at ORGATEC 2026

Nowy Styl and Kusch+Co will once again join forces at ORGATEC 2026, one of the world’s leading events dedicated to the design and furnishing of work environments.

At our shared exhibition stand, we will present the latest solutions from the Nowy Styl and Kusch+Co portfolios. Visitors will discover as many as 20 product premieres.

Playing with silence. Acoustics and workplace comfort
The theme of our exhibition stand will be “Playing with silence”. It is a story about designing workplaces where sound is not an accidental element of the environment, but a consciously shaped part of the user experience. We believe that silence is not the opposite of sound, but its complement. It creates space for focus, offers relief from sensory overload, and allows what truly matters to be heard – conversations, ideas, and human connections.

It is no coincidence that this is becoming one of the key challenges in workplace design today. More than 60% of employees identify noise as one of the factors affecting workplace comfort. The answer is not to eliminate sound, but to shape it consciously – creating spaces that offer the right balance between activity and quiet.

 
Balance between sound and silence
The idea behind “Playing with silence” is brought to life through concrete solutions that help create acoustically comfortable work environments. For the first time, Nowy Styl will present a completely new product category within its portfolio – acoustic pods.

One of the key premieres will be the SPIX Ace acoustic pods, with Class A acoustic performance, available in one-, four-, and six-person versions.

We will also present other acoustic solutions, including Sileo acoustic panels for walls and ceilings, as well as Sileo Evo, designed for desks and workbench setups.
Design begins where choice begins
At ORGATEC, we will also premiere our latest report, “Playing with silence.”
Silence means calm to some, while for others it means the ability to fully focus. It can offer relief from sensory overload, but it can also provide a sense of safety and comfort.

We believe that people should not have to adapt to their surroundings. Instead, a well-designed environment should give people the freedom to choose and find their own way of experiencing the space in which they work. Silence is a choice – the freedom to decide how we want to work.
Eco-design and sustainability – what truly matters to us
In Cologne, we will tell the story of design that thoughtfully responds to the needs of both people and the environment. We will invite visitors on a journey through the different stages of a product’s life – from the initial idea and conscious design decisions, through production and everyday use. At our stand, we will show how we extend the lifespan of our products and present use2 – our “Second Life” solution.
re:think design competition
We will also showcase prototypes of the three winning projects from the re:think design competition – a competition aimed at identifying innovative furniture concepts based on the idea of using a single base material, enabling the product to be fully recycled in line with the principles of a circular economy.

Visitors will have the opportunity to see the three award-winning projects up close: LYNKA by Sascha Sartory, MONO by Daniel Streilein and Henry Boy, and the Re:PET System by Nick Geipel and Moritz Walter – concepts that uniquely combine innovative design, functionality and a responsible approach to product development.
Red Dot Award: Product Design 2026 Winners
Our stand will also feature products recognised in this year’s Red Dot Award: Product Design 2026: Scadio and Prox from Nowy Styl and Smile from Kusch+Co. The international jury recognised their high design quality, functionality, and ability to combine aesthetics with the real needs of users.
New products, new finishes
At ORGATEC, we will present 20 product premieres – including entirely new product lines as well as extensions to existing collections. The new products will include, among others, acoustic solutions, swivel chairs, and soft seating. We continue to expand our portfolio to meet the changing needs of users and today’s work environments.

Alongside the product premieres, we will introduce new finishes that offer even more possibilities for creating individual interiors. These will include Select, Cura Loop and Downtown fabrics from Gabriel, Oceanic from Camira and Lars from Davis. We will also present our Organic Board furniture board – made from 100% recycled wood.
