For our company, the rational use of water in our manufacturing operations is of utmost impor tance. These are promoted through administrative and operational measures that seek the constant efficiency of their consumption. • Our production process does not have a significant water footprint.Water consumption occurs mainly for human activities. • The water consumption required for the process is efficiently carried out through a closed circuit. • We treat 100% of wastewater in both our facilities . In Costa Rica, we reuse water for irrigation of the reforestation area, which allows the flora species of the area to be maintained without the need for drinking water. Every day, 25 m3 is reincorporated into the water cycle . Likewise, rainwater is harvested through a 2.500-liter tank, avoiding the consumption of drinking water for maintenance activities that do not require any degree of potability. • In both facilities, we installed water saving devices in sinks and por table toilets to optimize their savings. • The two production facilities recorded a 34% reduction in consumption of water resources for the 2020 period. 100% 25M 3 34% WASTEWATER TREATMENT RE-INCORPORATES TO THEWATER CYCLE WATER CONSUMPTION DECREASE Water
