Aware of our impact and the impor tance of gas management in our operations, we have implemented strict gas treatment controls that guarantee an emission that does not negatively impact the air. We invest in state-of-the-ar t gas cleaning equipment, ensuring the cleaning of 100% of the emission from the production process . Similarly, aware of our impact, we responsibly and voluntarily made the decision to offset 100% of our direct reach emissions from both facilities, allocating more than $100.000 USD in compensation annually. In Colombia and Costa Rica, we compensate through projects that suppor t and protect the fauna and flora of the fores ts. Likewise, we invest in solar energy and innovation for the reuse of waste that contribute to our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint.
