The machines are fitted with innovative technological solutions that shorten detail processing time, translating into reduced electricity consumption. A safety power function used in the machine tool’s control system alone has saved us 10%-15% of energy. We have launched an automatic cutting room for cut- ting fabrics and leather in the Chair Factory in Jasło, and modernised the software used to control cut layouts. This has reduced cut-out preparation (nesting) time by 80%. As a result, electricity consumption per product has gone down significantly and material use dropped by an aver- age of 2.14% per contract. As a result, less textile waste is disposed of externally.
