Before running his own design studio, he worked as a designer/account manager at the furniture studio in The Hague, where he gained great experience in industry designing. When you ask him about his design, he says: Although my designs are often called minimalistic, when you consider the functionality they offer you’ll find that I’m actually a maximalist… I try to integrate as many functions into one easy to read design . Vincent van der Horst est le fondateur et le propriétaire du studio de design Crystallize. Il a fait ses études d’architecture, ainsi que du design industriel, à l’Université de la Haye. Avant de fonder son propre atelier de projets, il a travaillé comme chef de projet pour un fabricant de mobilier, où il avait acquis son expérience dans le domaine de design industriel. D’après lui, ses projets peuvent être souvent qualifiés de minimalistes, mais vu leur fonctionnalité, je les appellerais plutôt maximalistes...
