Toyota Case study EN

The greatest advantage of the new office, as compared to the previous one, designed in the 1980s, is the furniture, particularly the chairs. They follow advanced ergonomic principles, which is important, because sometimes we have to spend long hours at the desk, for example when launching a new car model. That’s when you can feel the difference. Another positive development is the arrangement of the office space. In the previous office we were sitting in a number of rooms in long corridors. When we wanted to talk to someone from the other end of the corridor, we have quite a distance to cover. Then we knocked on the door and entered the room feeling as if we were interrupting our colleagues at work. Now the communication has become much easier. Alexander Hariwijadi Toyota Fleet Manager
