Michał Biernacki



Michał Biernacki was born in 1973. He is a graduate of the faculty of painting at the Silesian University and cooperates with the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice. He co-founded Moho Design and is the head of design studio CODE Architecture&Design whose many designs have been put into production, including for such brands as Nowy Styl, BN Office Solution, Zelmer, Iker, Armatura Kraków, Moroso and Mohodesign. He values above anything else the principle of practical and ergonomic design, with aesthetics serving the user rather than dominating the whole picture.

Michał Biernacki has designed the Next U armchair for Nowy Styl brand.





Giancarlo Bisaglia

Giancarlo Bisaglia was born and still lives in Padua. He obtained his diploma at the Padua Art Institute and has been working in the field of industrial design for many years. In the GLOBAL DESIGN studio, which he set up in 1993, he deals mainly with the design of office products, ranging from chairs to desk systems, as well as products and objects for the house for Italian and foreign companies, in addition to the design of installations for exhibitions and trade-fair stands. He has been lecturer in industrial design at the Italian Design School in Padua. He has successfully exhibited at ROSCOE in Canada and at the Biennale BIO show in Ljubljana and has gained recognition through participation in various Italian and international competitions.

For Nowy Styl brand Giancarlo Bisaglia has designed chairs El Sol and Fiuggi. 


Oscar Buffon


Oscar Buffon runs a design studio in Venice. He is mainly involved in developing furniture for residential houses and offices. He has extensive experience creating original office chairs with the use of modern materials and technologies.

Oscar Buffon has designed the Intrata armchair for Nowy Styl brand.




Stanisław Charaziak

Stanisław Charaziak is a graduate of Industrial Design Department at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Poland. Since 1996 he has been involved only in industrial design. He has designed more than 200 chairs which have been put into production, more than a dozen box furniture systems, cinema armchairs, lecture theatre sets and other types of furniture. He designs exclusively for mass production and never takes part in competitions as a matter of principle. His first contact with Nowy Styl was when he was asked to enter competition "Chair" organised by the company. Charaziak did not enter the competition and it was only much later in 1998 that he designed an auditorium armchair for the company. He was then asked to create part of the wooden furniture collection.

Stanisław Charaziak has designed chairs Florence, Madrid and Lisbon for Nowy Styl.



Agata Danielak-Kujda

Two trends interweave in her professional work as a designer: design work and teaching. Working with students means constant practice of design methods and creative thinking. It also provides motivation, as well as the desire and need for constant search of new solutions, ideas and spaces for activity, so important to any designer. She takes up various types of design work: jewellery, lighting and furniture, but also vehicle design. Selected designs include: Magamago lamp family for Tronconi, Macma ball pens, low-floor tram for PESA Bydgoszcz, city bus JELCZ M-083 LIBERO for Autobusy Polskie, crosier, cross, orders and signet rings for the Knightly Order of St. George.

For the Nowy Styl brand Agata Danielak-Kujda and Małgorzata Pękala have designed Molino and Dorino table and chairs.



Małgorzata Pękala

A graduate of Antoni Kenar State High School of Fine Arts in Zakopane at the faculty of Artistic Furniture, and the Department of Design and Interior Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw. The designer is involved primarily in developing industrial design, comprehensive visual identification, interior planning, the art of exhibition, stage design, designing fabrics, clothing, carpets and other types of interior furnishings. She designs furniture for mass production, including that made of recycled materials. She runs her original lectures and workshops in design for children and teenagers in which she focuses on recycling and upcycling.

Małgorzata Pękala has designed chairs Fiama, Dolce, Dorino and Molino for Nowy Styl.


Paolo Galeotti

Paolo Galeotti was born in Udine, Italy. He gained his first experience as a designer in the 1970s. He gave up his psychology course at university to follow his passion: design and manufacturing of items for everyday use. It was at that time that he started his active cooperation with the furniture industry. In 1976 he started to work with chair manufacturer LUIGI PASSONI & figli SPA for whom he designed several models of chairs and tables. In 1983 he opened his own industrial design studio which quickly won acclaim in the market. In 1984/86 he started to cooperate with renowned furniture manufacturers such as German Luebeke Intenational, Swiss Minet, American Broyhill and even more outstanding brands such as Gwinner or Woessner, designing modern furniture in Central-European style for them.
His designs reflect his conviction that a workstation should be healthy and ergonomic; he is one of the first designers to introduce the term "ergonomics" which the whole industry started to use only a couple of years later. Today he is a world famous designer who creates furniture following the principle of maximum potential and functionality.

For Nowy Styl Paolo Galeotti has designed the chair line Cracow, Vienna, Paris. He is also the author of the Dona table.



Francesco Geraci

Born in Rijeka, Croatia, he worked and lived in Italy. He was professionally involved in interior and industrial design since 1970. He worked for many renowned companies in Italy and abroad. Geraci is the creator of the only chair in the wooden chair collection in which wood is subtly combined with metal.

Szymon Hanczar

An interior and furniture designer, he has graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw and has been assistant lecturer at its Furniture Design Studio since 2006. While in college, he did a scholarship in Munich and an internship at Niki Szilagyi's studio - Matteo Thun Partner. He participated in a number of exhibitions and competitions. He has created interiors for many restaurants, offices and stores. He works for the industry as well as produces his own designs in limited-edition series. He is a proud owner of the smallest flat in Wroclaw, and maybe even in Poland (13 sqm).

Szymon Hanczar has designed Pinacolada cafe set for Nowy Styl.



Manfred Hermann

He is a graduate of the Higher Vocational School of Design in Ulm, Germany. In the years 1968-1971 Hermann ran his own independent design studio in Stuttgart. Since 1973 ha has had his own design studio herrmann+stumpp • ulm in Ulm, Germany which specializes in industrial design. He has won many awards of the design industry.

Manfred Herrmann and Horst Stumpp have designed Leonardo and Leonardo II armchairs, and Amigo, Bistro and Bingo chairs for Nowy Styl.



Horst Stumpp

Horst Stumpp is a graduate and teacher at the Higher Vocational School of Design in Ulm, Germany.
Since 1976 he has been running his own design studio herrmann+stumpp • ulm which designs furniture, chairs and other industrial items. He is also involved in designing for the construction industry.

Horst Stumpp and Manfred Herrman have designed Leonardo and Leonardo II armchairs, and Amigo, Bistro and Bingo chairs for Nowy Styl.



Jens Korte

Jens Korte has worked for the following design studios: frogdesign (1987-91), wiege (1993-97), npk industrial design (1997-99). He then became involved in research activity until 1993. From 1999 on he has been working as an independent designer.

He has designed Wing II chair for Nowy Styl.



Robert Nowakowski

Robert Nowakowski, born in 1971, is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan at the Interior and Industrial Design Department (he obtained his diploma in 2000). He started his professional career as a co-founder of the design studio RM Projektanci toghether with Mikołaj Wierszyłłowski in 2001- 2005. He is currently active in several design groups such as IQ Project Comfort, Robert Nowakowski – Projekty, and +/-. He specialises in designing for industry: seats, furniture, casing for electronic and solar systems and equipment, medical devices, and in planning private, commercial and public interior spaces. He cooperates with such brands as Ever, Kompania Piwowarska, Insgraf, Carlsberg and Lars.

Robert Nowakowski and Mikołaj Wierszyłłowski have designed Sonata armchair for Nowy Styl.



Mikołaj Wierszyłłowski

Mikołaj Wierszyłłowski has graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan, Department of Interior and Industrial Design. He has worked as assistant lecturer at the design studio of the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan. In 2001, together with Robert Nowakowski, he opened a design studio. Today, he is involved in interior and product design at the Wierszyłłowski i Projektanci design studio, together with Dorota Jaśkiewicz, Wojtek Barański, Natalia Cichańska, Piotr Banach, Anna Winna and Anna Kolesinska. The group's works have been presented at many exhibitions of Polish design, including: Made in Poland in Frankfurt and Berlin, Prodeco, Polish Passion of Creating, Polish Design in Practice, dizajn!dizajn,, Design Festival in Łódź. Works created in the studio have been often published in magazines about architecture and design such as Architektura, Elle Decoration, Dobre wnętrze etc.

Mikołaj Wierszyłłowski has designed chair Tiziano for Nowy Styl. Together with Robert Nowakowski he has designed the Sonata armchair.



Angelo Pinaffo

Born in Padua in 1966, he studied industrial design at the Art Institute in Padua and the University of Architecture in Venice. He is now working as an independent designer in the field of architecture, interior design, industrial design and graphic design. Over the last fifteen years he has concentrated on designing office chairs and everyday use chairs. For his original designs Angelo Pinaffo has received a number of prestigious awards.

Angelo Pinaffo has designed the chair Lula for Nowy Styl.



Wiesław Radoniewicz

He has been working with Nowy Styl for the past fifteen years. With his knowledge of modern technologies and functional nature of his original creative concepts he provides a broad scope of design ideas. The result of his work are products which constitute the basic portfolio of the company.

999 Design

Thousands of ideas are too much for the head, but 999 is a great idea! This is how was born in 2005. A group of young entrepreneurs with different experiences had the courage and potential to test, create and implement forms, concepts and objects.
